The tilted caps are on balls anyway, that probably makes them easier to tilt when you set up the field.
We 3D printed a cap and made it the same weight and it is relatively easy to flip a cap, but not easy enough to do so without a designed mechanism to do it. For example, a push-bot could not do it, but a VEX claw-bot could.
Do your 3D printed ones stay in a tilted position?
Yes, but we haven’t flipped them with force like in the original video. I will definitely try to flip them up and see how they land on Monday
