Our team is working on the VX IQ precise turns with Gyro from the caution tape we were able to get the P straight to work for our robot but not the turning. We are using a gyre sensor and we are not using the brain innercal but our robot still spins permanently
This means that your robot is trying to turn on a plane that it can’t. For example lets say we have a x, y, and z plane. (X being the floor, Y being height, z being depth.) Your Brain internal might be positioned in such a way that it wants to turn on the Y axis, and unless your bot is a plane (Send me pics if it is) it can’t turn that way. To test what way your brain is positioned go into the drive mode, and turn your robot around in these various axis’. you should be able to find what axis it is measuring rotation on by checking the rotation number on the screen.
