I’m doing a research project for my robotics class over different types of lifting mechanisms and was wondering if someone could pass some knowledge on Chain bar lifts

Kepler electronics has some good videos on different lifts (they are more of how to build them, but you can see how they work)
chain bar lift:
if you want other types of lifts, he has a lot of different videos for them, it wont be the most technical, but if you want to know the basics i would go to his channel.
another lift you can do (and my personal favorite) is the cascade lift:
