As asked unofficially here.

The deadline for the CAD Challenge reads as follows: “Wed, Jan 11, 2017 12:00 AM CST”

Does this mean that, if I were in Texas, I would have to turn in my designs by Tuesday night or Wednesday night?

As I understand it, 12:00 midnight to 12:01 AM is considered the first minute of a day, but a clarification would be nice.

As an example, is 12:01 AM Wednesday morning a legal time to submit an entry?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. They close at end of day Wednesday, not beginning. We have updated the site deadline times to clarify:
All online challenges close on Wednesday, 11 January, 2017 at 11:00 PM CST.
