I am using V5 pro for the programming of my teams robot. I was wondering if there was a way to add another gear ratio ex: 5_1 for some of the mechanisms. Do I have to edit the Vex library and if so how?
What do you want to accomplish with this? To add a gear ratio to your robot, you have to physically add it. Gear ratios are not added in software.

The gear ratios that you add with the motor setup are for the swappable gear cartridge. Are you trying to add in external gear ratios?
