One of our teams was wondering if changing from omni-wheels to rubber tires for programming would be an acceptable change to their robot, since they are allowed to modify or fix the robot during a tournament. Or would that be too much of a change to subsystem 1? Thanks.
This is both a legal and normal modification. When being inspected you should let the inspectors know you’re planning on doing this and show them the Robot in both configurations.
