Okay… My chassis was working extremely fine and almost never burned out. The day after I posted that (which is today,) during practice my chassis kept burning out in under 20-30 seconds… I can’t ask anyone about the subject of my drivetrain until the reveal, but I was just pointing that out.
We actually use the duster a lot, but we figured that it would be better if we don’t rely on that, since it could run out, or not be effective enough.
So my team just recently found out about this so I want to pass this on. The power output on a regular torque motor is a curve. At around 80 percent power usage it add very little torque and really only adds heat. This can cause a major burnout problem which is why different motors don’t help. This may or may not help.
