Hello Vex Forum! I have a question on how to fix my gears on my choo
choo mechanism from bending outwards. Help would be greatly appreciated. Pictures attached below.

Different robot, different issue.
Anyways, you can use a smaller piece to connect those two sides, so it wouldn’t have to bend.
This is the piece I’m referring to (I don’t do VEX IQ, so I don’t know the name):
You could also push these gears into place:
They aren’t aligned with the smaller gear, so it might fit afterward.

On the matter of pieces, the first one is known (well I know it as) a double sided 7 hole connecter.
For the matter of the gears. I don’t believe that they are able to push the gears together as a result of the bending.
Try adding standoffs in between the choochoo gears to help strengthen them.
Lastly, from one of the angles, the axle looks bent. You could check the axles to make sure they arent bent, which could be causing the problem.
