We’re searching the best claw that woulld be able to turn to take the cap in each situation. Some ideas that have worked to you?
Thanks. Warriors
You have 2 options, a passive claw, and a active claw.
Passive Intake
How to make
Use 2 c-channels to enclose the cap from both sides, like this:

Advantages
Easy to make.
No motors used.
Disadvantages
When rotating, it might slip out, as there is nothing actually holding it into place.
Takes up a lot of space.
Active Intake
How to build
Either build a claw that squeezes the top and bottom, or both sides. I guess the kit claw would work for gripping it from both sides, but you probably would want to look into better options. For the side claw, you could use 2 c-channels with some grip in between, and use a motor to grip it.

Advantages
Significantly stronger grip-wise.
Generally more reliable in terms of not having the cap slip out.
Disadvantages
Harder to build compared to passive
Uses up a motor, and when you only have 8 v5 motors available, that’s important.
Hope this helped you out!

Gotta get that w a f f l e intake
in reality tho it’s really simple once you think about what a basic waffle iron does.
11/10 that is the best analogy I have seen so far. Nice!
