So is a Vex Coach required to show up to tournaments he/she registers his team for? We have had problems when our coach won’t show up to tournaments, so we are just curious on what the rule is??
No rules require an adults attendance at tournaments. There is implied that someone is in charge of the team, be it the President of the club or something similar to work with event partners in case of an issue.

We have a single mom who comes to our matches, but one time she was out of town, so we were a very small team of just two girls.

Sorry forgot to mention. Parental signatures prior to competition are necessary for release forms and the like. Once at worlds my old team competed entirely without any adults. It was funny because at one point we were contacted by someone who came to our pit looking for our primary and secondary contact on robotevents. One of which was me (16 at the time) and the other was teammate (17 at the time).
Haha yeah, we had to scramble for a parent 10 minutes before check in ended… That was an adventure.
