Coding checklist

This is my first you in vex as a programmer. I’ve already coded most parts of the robot so far but I was just wondering if there some other stuff that I need to code like I when hit what stop.

Are you building the Hero bot? If yes, there’s a template that has all the code for it, if not, can you explain more on what your robot does?

We have a robot with an intake, conveyor, and 4 motor drivetrain all of which I have coded. I was wondering if there was some code that every robot needs like a when hit wall stop.
