Coding Forum(For people who need help with coding)

Hello, people of the Vex Forum, I have created this forum for people who need help with their program or are just curious about the many different things you can do in your program.

P.S. C++ is my main language but I know the basics of Python and what form it should be in.

P.S.S. Also, feel free to recommend other coding languages that you think work well, I would be happy to learn them.

You created a topic, not a forum.

We also prefer that members with specific coding questions start a new topic as it’s easier for future members to search when having a similar question.

I recommend teen-speak dialect of the English language, interpreted by the onboard ChatGPT High School edition, where both ACK and NACK response codes are replaced by a single BRUH pronounced with different intonations.

Ok, Thank you for your response.

Is there a course or training program for learning vex v5 competition driver mode coding?

First, I learned to code in C++ and Python by practicing with vex code v5 and by looking on the left side of the screen where(only in the website) you can drag “blocks” of text(circled in blue) and place the text in your code, by doing this I just memorized C++ and Python. And circled in red is the question marks that show you what each line of code does and different ways to use the code. I find that this is one of the quickest and easiest ways to learn.

Second, there are not really any other good ways to learn C++ that show much of the code used for Vex Competition but for general use there is ‘codefinity’ which is a good platform/website to use(but still not very useful for Vex Competition).

I hope I was of help!
