Coding with V5 Blocks

I’m using the new V5 Blocks Vex Coding System. I have done the graphic controller option to program my buttons but that system won’t select the left/right buttons or their counterparts, the A/Y buttons. I have two more motors (maxed out at 8) that I’m trying to program. I put in If/Else blocks for backward and forward movements. The else is setting the motor to stop.

My issue is that the motors won’t stop running. Shouldn’t the If/Else make it stop?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
