For schools that live along way from any VEX Official events, is there any time where teams play each other via Skype/Facetime or even pre-recorded video? It would not even have to be an official event… Just something to give my students a chance to compete and collaborate.
I’m not sure what you’re asking, because individually, each team will perform differently when the field changes as the other robot interacts with game objects. The very robot being there would also effect how the robot drives, as different defensive autonomous may be used with different partners. This would also effect how the starting position of the game objects. Maybe you could setup a skills run unofficially (officially is out of the question) but I’m not sure the benefit that would provide. Overall, its not really physical, as it’d be similar to asking to play basketball over video chat, which provides similar problems.

This could work for skills but would be hard to verify that your robot is with in size constraints and is autonomous
