I tested it ,there is not brake power anymore when disabled!! maybe the "feature " or bug is fixed!

We changed the behavior of the motor when the robot is disabled in June 2020. Motors are set to coast mode and stopped any time the robot is disabled by competition control.

I think it is not programming environment dependent, but rather a vexos “feature”, that is if it still behaves that way.
