I have the latest version of EasyC V2 and have recently updated to VEXnet (complete with Master Code 10 and the VEXNet hardware) and followed all directions for proper installation, assembly, etc. I tried to use the Competition Switch Simulator in the terminal window, but it can’t connect to the controller and it always displays an error about initializing the simulator. In addition, I tried to download code wirelessly via the VEXNet key yet the code compiles and never downloads.
My questions at this point:
- Is there a fix for this error and the compiling problem?
- How should we connect the controller, robot, etc. to use the simulation? (I have seen no diagrams or instructions for this)
