Competition Port on Remote

Hello -I am curious what “workarounds” are legal regarding the broken competition ports?

We just learned of this the hard way Saturday & have 2 more meets coming up…

A quick & temporary solution is to use a rubber band to hold the field cable inside of the VEXnet Joystick competition port. A permanent solution will be to mail the VEXnet Joystick back to VEX for repair, it is covered by the warranty.

If outside of warranty, we do offer a repair service on the VEXnet Joystick at a cost of $50 per device.
