Just throwing the idea out there but do you guys think it would be cool if you could configure your own vex pneumatics kit?
I want to see
1.Multiple cylinder stroke lengths, 2in, 4in, 6in, 8in, 10in, and 12in.
2.Multiple tank sizes say 20, 40, and 60 cubic inches.
THIS IS WHAT I REALLY WANT TO SEE!!!
3.Choice between getting the (tank, regulator, and on off switch assembly) and a flat out 1/4in or 1/8in npt hookup on each of the cylinder sets. This lets people connect it to an alternate air source easily like a compressor.
For a second I thought you were asking for non-vex pneumatics… then I searched and realized that you had already done that.
Are you saying that VEX should make more options for pneumatics? If so I think the problem is that the pnaumtaics are expensive and offering more kits is probably not cost-effective, i.e. IFI doesn’t have enough space to store more pneumatics options.
yeah, kinda like corpralchee said, i don’t think vex gets enough buisness in the pnuematics department to spend money on new pnuematics
The market for pneumatics isn’t that big but I think the cost plays a large roll in it being a small market.
I remember hearing something about vex re engineering a more affordable kit but I never got a date or anything.
