how could explain plz
Hi Prubby, welcome to the forums. I can tell you’re new, but it would be great if you could condense your questions into a single thread, especially if they pertain to the same topic (pneumatics).
As for actually answering your question, I believe you can connect both single acting (1A) and double acting (2A) pistons to the same reservoir, but you need to T-split the air to their respective solenoids.
i will condwnse my question next time and thank you so much
You might find this wiki entry to be helpful. To connect a Pneumatics Kit 1 to Pneumatics Kit 2, where the T-fitting “splits” the reservoir air to 2 double-acting cylinders, you could insert a second T-fitting to “split” again to accommodate another cylinder form Pneumatics Kit 1. Or you could replace one of the double-acting cylinders with a single-acting one from Kit 1 (though I don’t know why one would want to do this).
P.S. The Vex Wiki has all kinds of good resources, especially for beginners, but also for more advanced learners.
i want to do that because we are going to use the double acting more often thats why i want to give on double acting its own resivour and the other its own and we will prob use the single acting once to pop out our wheelie bar
aren’t you using them on your intank .I thought you where going to have you wheelie bar was going to pop out using rubber bands
He is going to use it as a pin to keep it in to fit in 18^3 the rubber band are to deploy the wheelie bar
yes you can connect the 2 kits. you will need a t fitting as stated above. As per vex rules you can use identical parts, so to keep your costs down i recommend plc center. Just make sure that you are aware of the $50 minimum order. Also be aware that the shipping can take a while due to the nature of the supply chain.
