Connecting Pneumatic Reservoirs

How do you connect two pneumatic reservoirs: do you just connect them with the T fitting or are there other steps.

To connect two pneumatic reservoirs you need one input fitting (where you pump air into) and one “bridge” fitting on one reservoir. On the other reservoir you need one “bridge” fitting and one output fitting (to solenoid). Use the screw in fittings that are orange that the pneumatic tubing plugs into to connect (bridge) the two reservoirs. Use one piece of tubing to connect the reservoirs between the two orange fittings. I can post a picture later if this is still unclear.

The above works, but if you got your tanks in a kit they probably only have 1 pump fitting and 1 tubing fitting each. In that case you can just take a hose out of each of the tanks and then a t-fitting to connect them and get one hose. As the tanks are connected yoh only need to hook the pump to one tank, but they’ll both have pump fittings.

@Kevin Boenisch When pumping, do I still only pump to 100 psi even if the reservoirs are connected together with a T fitting?

Yes, because both reservoirs are connected together and are part of the same system, they both have the same pressure, and when you pump to 100 psi both will be at 100 psi. You’ll just have to pump twice as much than with one tank as you need to fill twice the volume.
