Connection Issues

At our last tournament, we had severe connection issues. randomly through matches, our robot would shut of, and turn back on, so we would lose precious time because we would have to wait for it to pair. Are there any general solutions to this problem? We went to 3 or 4 other tournaments before it, and never had this problem. (We also made radical changes to our robot before this tournament, if that helps find the solution).

-Check USB keys inserted all the way.
-Check for wifi hotspots interfering
-Battery levels
-Vexnet keys obscured by metal?

Also, check the battery connections. Sometimes the battery connections will disconnect momentarily and cause the robot to lose connection.

We had connection issues for one tournament and we fixed it by updating our vex software on the brain and our controller and computer. Then we didn’t have problems
