Constant V5 Battery Low Voltage

Hey Guys! Hope everyone has had a good season so far!
My team has been getting the low voltage error on our robot constantly during competition. It doesnt seem to follow any pattern, sometimes we can go 4 games without a problem, other times its every other match we have a low voltage error.
I know there are lots of articles about how to resolve the problem when it occurs, but is there a way to prevent it from happening in the future?

can you grab the V5 firmware update utility from here (V1.0.7) if you don’t already have it.
(A standalone VEXos updater is also available for both Windows and Mac.)

Close VCS or any other programming solution you may be using for V5

and then follow the instructions to run the “battery medic” program
