Our robot has an unresponsive brain. Basically, it won’t respond to touch or the power button. The only solution to this problem is unplugging the power cable from the brain, but after you put it in again, it’ll work for approx. 5 seconds and become unresponsive. This is very annoying from a programming stance, because this makes downloading code nearly impossible. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I don’t mean this to sound condescending or anything, but is the battery fully charged? If so, have you tried using a different battery?
Have you tried reflashing vexOS on the brain? You can enable force flash in the v5 firmware utility and try and reflash it that way.
Also, how old is the brain? Did these problems just start after you’ve had the brain for a while or is it new (in which case it could just be DOA)
