When using our cortex controller and a competition switch, we find that sometimes the system will get bugged. The game LED on the controller will turn red, and neither driver nor auton will run like this. to fix it, we have to unplug the competition switch, yet the red game LED will remain, and turn on and off the controller. this seems to happen every other time or so we use the competition switch. tried switching controllers, Ethernet cables, and competition switches. I’m worried that this will be an issue during competition and I don’t want to have to check the system every time we start a match. Anyone else encounter this bug and found a fix?
Did you try different VEXnet keys ?
I can’t ever remember seeing a red game led, are you sure it’s that one and not VEXnet ?
don’t have my controller with me now, but I’m fairly sure the game LED was red. could have been VEXnet though. I tried using keys, and the USB cord. same deal
Slightly unrelated and a newbie question, but what is the solution for a red vexnet led only on a cortex controller?
