Controller not controlling arm motor in drive mode

All motors, brain, controller have updated firmware. Our arm motor is configured for the controller, but the controller is not moving the motor.
Have tried
-different ports (and reconfigured).
-different motors (and reconfigured & reupdated)

I have a few questions for you…

Does the robot drive?

When you are trying to control the arm, is the motor making a sound, or is it just staying there?

Can you send a photo of your robot arm? Preferably where the motors are located.

Have you tried another set of buttons on the controller?

Yes the robot drives fine and the gripper motor works as well. But the arm motor does not move at all even when it is not attached with the shaft & gears.

Any news? The other thing to try is writing a short autonomous program to rn the arm, that would help figure out if it’s the controller. As someone else has said, some detailed pics would be really helpful.
