Controller Not Downloading Firmware

I’m currently attempting to use RobotC to download new firmware to my controller, to be able to use the Programing Cable to wirelessly monitor variables and sensor values.

Anyways, long story short, I attempted to download and it told me it “Failed to enter Master Boot Mode,” and when I tried it again, the ROBOT and GAME lights flash rapidly, and I get the “No Vex Device Connected” Error.

Anyways, I was wondering if any of you had a solution to this problem/could help me more than Google.

Hello Charlie,

Good question.
Can you still download into the Cortex using the USB A-to-A cable?
Please confirm.

Additionally I would like to get a screenshot of the error message that you are generating in ROBOTC, it will help us diagnose the problem.

I await your response.
