Controller not turning on

I am a large scale user at a middle school with about 100 VEX IQ kits. I have eight controllers that are not turning on. When plugged into the computers, the battery light shows green showing that is charged. When the remote is not plugged in, it does not have any power. I tried different controller batteries with no luck. Is their a life expectancy on these controllers or batteries?

Definitely sounds like a bad controller battery.
​They should still be covered under the warranty, please contact support@vex.com for details.
