For autonomous period in a match, is it okay to put a goal with rings scored on it in the corner? I’ve never seen anyone do it during competition, but I feel like it would be a very easy strategy to employ if you’re in a positive corner quadrant.
This is not common since corners do not change score during auton, as per “Climb points and Corner modifiers are not included in the calculation of an Alliance’s score for the
purposes of determining the Autonomous Bonus.”

There’s no rule prohibiting that; however it won’t earn you any points towards the autonomous bonus – see rule SC2a in the game manual.
