How many counts does a vex motor encoder record for every revolution of the wheel?
Sense I ask so many questions I thought I would help someone
From the vex site
“Function Measures 627.2 ticks per revolution of the output shaft. (High Torque Configuration)
Measures 392 ticks per revolution of the output shaft (High Speed Configuration)”
darn it he beat me! Grr…
Who did ?
From the product pages for both parts.
The old red quad encoder is 360 counts/revolution
Ohh no you beat me posting it I typed to slow because I’m on my phone …
I see what you did there… haha!
Thank you all!
I am really confused.
Are there two (2) people using “Android4life”'s account?
Here is a helpful page (for ROBOTC): http://www.robotc.net/wiki/Tutorials/Programming_with_the_new_VEX_Integrated_Encoder_Modules
No… Jpearman posted above me then deleted his post… cause I said he beat me…
Jesse do you have a Facebook?
Oh, OK I see now
No, I do not have a Facebook. You can contact me directly by emailing our team email: (I get all emails on my iPod). Go to our website to find our email Also, you can post on our team Facebook page, I ill see it.
Is there anything in particular you wanted to ask me?
Typed on iPod
Yes, sorry for the confusion, I should wait sometimes for students to answer and not jump the gun.
Jesse, I would delete your email so the spambots don’t get hold of it.
