Couple of Issues

I cannot get the old ultrasonic range finders to show values on the brain. I have tried several range finders and followed the instructions on the website for adding the sensor but cannot see any values on the brain that lets me know that it is picking this up.

Second, I have a couple of groups that can’t get two sensors to read when they run a code, I have looked at their program and cannot see where the mistake it but something has to be crossed up in how its trying to communicate.

Last, Has anyone had a motor just quit working. These are relatively new kits and I have a motor that won’t even light up when connected. Any fixes?

First question - is this VRC (V5 equipment) or IQ? You have this posted in IQ, but from the questions you are asking it sounds like you might be talking about V5.

What coding platform are you using?

Can you share the code you are having problems with?

Yes, sometimes motors don’t work. It could be the motor or it could be the port on the brain. Try different motors on a port to determine if it is the port, try different ports for the motor to determine if it is the motor. If you purchased them within 1 year then you can RMA them with VEX.
