Coupling Standoffs

Hi VEX community.

For my scoop I’m having problems with the standoffs loosening themselves. Specifically, the couplers seem to loosen up in the standoffs and they just fall off. I would think that wrapping the couplers with teflon tape would help, but I also want to have some other input too. Thanks!

Dip the tip of the standoff couplers in a pool of blue locktite and then screw it half way into the standoff. Then repeat the steps with the other side of coupler that is half way into the standoff already. Repeat this until u have the length of you want for your scoop.

Another thing you could try is metal spacers they aren’t big enough to cause interference with picking up the stars or cube and they create more friction meaning they won’t come apart easy
