So as some of you know, China has been restricted from attending the US Open for both IQ and VRC, just wanted to know y’alls opinions on this.
Honestly, it’s kind of a relief. I do want everybody to participate, but sometimes it’s a bit overwhelming because of how good they are. It’s almost like having a middle school team compete against a high school team. We still want them to play, just not against us.

I feel bad for them and i wish it gets better but now the USA teams have a chance of winning i hope.

It’s disappointing cuz they have some of the best bots in the world but understandable cuz, ya know, virus

I think its for the greater good as safety precaution for everyone. It had to be done and there’s nothing you can do about it, because if you don’t do anything about it, the consequence is worse for everyone.

It is going to be different without the Chinese teams. We also learn a lot from them, but it is what it is. Maybe situations will be better before Worlds.
