This one’s for all you experienced roboticists out there.
I want to start a team, and I am ready to create a team. However, I have to register a team and team number, which costs 150 dollars.
Is the 150 a once time purchase or a yearly membership that has to be renewed?

I think it’s yearly.
Also, if you want advice on choosing a team number, you can look at some of the posts in this thread.
Also, you can change your team name at any time, and it’s even possible to change the number after you’ve registered the team.

I think it’s an annual fee. I’d just be sure you have enough sponsors or fundraising to cover the expensive V5, enough metal(aluminum is usually best), and whatever odds and ends such as tools, fasteners, etc.
