Since 3D prints are illegal this year including on your license plates, I’ve developed a way to make custom plates while staying within the rules. This 3D printed stencil clicks in on top of your license plates and you spray paint it leaving a custom license plate that is 100% legal. I have a video here to explain it further and how to make it.

Great idea! I just have some small quick suggestions.
Currently, it looks pretty think, a thinner version would be easier to 3d print, taking less material. Additionally, if it lined up with the border it would ensure the text is centered.
For fixing the lines, I see 2 potential solutions.
- Use a partial connector, where the connection piece is only at the top, and the spray paint can still get under it. I can make an example if requested.
- Create 2 stencils, with the supporting pieces in 2 different places and spray paint with 2 coats
