Cutting custom plastic from a sheet of 3d printed ABS

Would it be legal for the plastic sheet that parts are cut from to be 3d printed? I want to use a sheet of ABS that I am going to print as a direct drive cartridge. I could not find a rule that made it illegal,

No. R9 part G says that 3d printed parts are not custom plastic

This rule does not apply to 3D printed plastic parts. 3D printed parts are not permitted in the VEX
