Dallas Results: Skills & Awards

The web feed and real-time results were great this past weekend. I was able to watch several of my favorite teams make it in to their divisional playoffs and one of them go all the way to the Championship finals.

But I’d love to know more about how teams did in Driver Skills, Programming Skills, and the list of judged awards. Maybe a “top twenty” results posting for the skills competitions would also be a good way to recognize top performing teams as well as sating my idle curiosity.

Have I missed seeing that information somewhere, or is it possibily “coming soon to a web page near you”?

Thanks!

P.S. Any ARM9 controller rumours are also welcome.

Jason, the results of the Skills Challenges are available here: VEX Robotics World Championship 2023

Thanks! So wow… the 131 to 130 match we saw between 721 and 575 in driver skills at the BC Championships would have been good for third & fourth at worlds. I knew those teams were turning in some good numbers… too bad they were too busy winning matches to repeat them in Dallas.

And 1103… they should have just run their auto routine for driver skills! I hope there is video somewhere of their 130 point run in programming skills. I think my students are going to need to see it to believe it.

Actually, I think I do, too. That’s just such an awesome score.

Oh… wait a minute… Programming Skills Challenge World Champion - YouTube Isn’t youtube wonderful?

Thanks for that link, Jason. There were so many amazing robots in Dallas, but 1103’s impressed me the most. I loved the simplicity and efficiency of the design. Kudos to this small team for an absolutely dominant performance.

Is there a printable edition of the results and awards anywhere?
