So I was working on a robot, and all was fine. After charging the battery and coming back to it a few hours later, the brain no longer detected the motor plugged into port 5. I had tried switching cables and the port it was plugged into it, but to no avail. vexOS Utility sometimes briefly displays a bumper switch in the motors places, but that’s all that happens. Is there anything else I should try before sinking $20 into a replacement?
Edit: It seems that I was able to fix it by redownloading the RobotC firmware a few times. It switched to being in a ‘boot state’, which allowed the vexOS Utility to detect the motor and update the firmware. Is there a way to delete this thread?
