Hello I was wondering if you can add purely decorative parts to your robot like a led strip that could be blue or red to help signify which alliance your on and also just to be cool?
Yes as long that it doesn’t distract a vision sensor

Yes so non functional decorations are allowed, but at the same time the license plate does that.
Thank you but a teams robot will already have red or blue on it from the license plate and specifically in this years challenge a majority of the colors on the field are orange, green, and purple so unless the team has a full autonomous that searches for specific colored cubes and takes them to their specific scoring zones I doubt that the lights will interfere will a vision sensor more than any other object on the field.
That’s the thing. It shouldn’t be treated as another object on the field
