instead of full force ramming nudge your opponent right before they shoot to try and make them miss their shot this strategy works really well against double catapults.
This strategy will work well for all shooters.
Force an unfavorable 1v1. If you are going against a strong alliance where probability of winning is low, this strategy is especially good. Have the less offensively capable robot on your alliance play defense on the better robot on the other alliance. Don’t let them score a single point. This is actually a lot easier than it sounds if the driver is reasonably practiced. If they can score some low flags or flip some floor caps while still timing defense that is even better.
make sure that their shooters have the hardest time possible, always bump them before they fire.
