Hello All! Our team was wondering if it was possible to maintain our engineering notebook digitally. If so, do we have to print the pages out for competitions, or do we have to do another procedure.
Yes it is possible and It depends on the competition.
Some want it submitted online, others with a physical copy.
It shouldn’t be too hard to print it out if you need to.
Personally, I believe it is a better option as anybody can work on it without needing a physical copy, and there are no issues with losing it.

Yes, you are allowed to do a notebook digitally. I would highly recommend it because it allows your notebook to be easier to edit, make it look cleaner, and in my opinion easier to do.
For printing out notebooks, it depends on the competition. As said above, some competitions will let you submit it digitally, while at others (like the comps in our area) you have to print it out.
