Hi, im trying to make a casing for the vexnet competition switch, but i cant find the dimensions for it? Can someone provide it?
Hm. Went to vexrobotics.com to see if there’s a CAD file for it.
Noticed it says “Discontinued”.
Is there a replacement?
It’s being replaced by the Smart Field Control here: Smart Field Controller Kit - VEX Robotics?
@defaultusername I’ll measure it tomorrow after I go to my robotics space, I don’t think there’s any CAD file of it online it seems.

For running events, sure, I get that. But as a simple tool for teams to test their autons and other basic competition template stuff? This was such a basic tool you could just toss around and always worked. Being just a bunch of simple switches with some very basic logic, you could always be sure that the failure was not at that end. Also invaluable as a backup for when the fancy hundred dollar electronics fail. Something we always carry with us to every event. Will be missed.
