We are proud to present our Toss Up bot, Oatmeal! We are in the Math division.

For the most part this is a pretty standard bot with:

  • 4 motor 1:1.6 drive
  • 4 motor 7:1 lift
  • 2 motor magic intake & Ruiqi rollers. Thanks 21 and 2059!

As for pneumatics, we use 6 double acting pistons and two reservoirs:

  • 2 piston front catapult
  • 2 piston Stanley Lock
  • 2 pistons for the wings(one each)

Some other teams featured in this video who have been inspired by our design:

  • 2880A(white) - Science Division
  • 2587k(red) “Darth Disco”(Paint job & name inspired by 148) - Arts Division
  • 5678(black) - Technology Division

We also have two VEX IQ teams: 2587X and 2587A, and a VexU team RICE that will be competing at championships this weekend!

Well, 2880A Here,

I am competing with “Dingus”, The Robonauts version of “Oatmeal”.
I am Competing in the Science Division.
Dingus was getting his parts packed this evening. He suddenly noticed he was hungry, He went and grabbed some Cheetos, and ended up doing this…
