Can you legally disqualify a team by pushing them into your protected zone if you are holding a cube and claim it to be offensive? Sort of like how you could in I.T.Z. if you had a mobile goal
Somewhere in the general rules, it says you can’t make opponents commit illegal moves. For example, if you pushed a team into the net so they would get tangled and get penalized, you would probably get the warning or DQ.
<G1>, <G3>, and <G14> would like to have a word with you.
but then how could you in the I.T.Z. game
< G14 > You can’t force an opponent into a penalty. Intentional strategies that cause an opponent to
violate a rule are not permitted, and will not result in an infraction on the opposing Alliance.
Minor violations of this rule that do not affect the Match will result in a warning. Match Affecting
offenses will result in a Disqualification. Teams that receive multiple warnings may also receive a Disqualification at the Head Referee’s discretion.
That was only if you are truly trying to score. If your intent is to DQ another robot by feigning offensive action then you are in violation of the rules I listed as well as well as general sportsmanship rules.
Thank you, that makes sense
this is something called the “god rule”. in ITZ, it would result in a DQ. id imagine its still a DQ in TT
