Do 393 motors always spin the same direction?

So long as the pragma statements are the same and the wire colored connections match each other (red to red, black to black) and the computer code is identical, do 393 motors always spin the same direction when the same polarity is applied to them? I’m in the middle of a debate with some kids on this. They seem to think that 393 motors are not consistent in their direction of movement, that some turn CCW while others turn CW while looking into the shaft mounting hole.

Yes all 393’s spin the same way if given the same direction of current.

Thanks, and I did find an old post from a Vex tech support person that confirms this, too.

“Our manufacturers functional test involves a visual inspection, plus plugging in the motor to a known power supply, and ensuring it turns the correct direction.”
