I’m attempting to implement a way of having a sensor based slapper for over under to speed up match loading and to able to have my slapper go at full speed instead of only 50% but im not sure if distance sensors would sense clear lexan. If so would optical sensors work instead to sense the triballs?
I just tested it with 1.5mm polycarbonate, and the distance sensor can see through it, but when there is nothing in front of the sensor it outputs the distance of the polycarbonate instead of no value, so you would need to code it to ignore that (I haven’t tested it pressed up against the sensor though). I hope this helps!
