Hi - I was wondering if skills scores earned at regional tournaments are counted as within the season, meaning that if you do skills at regionals, then your scores earned there become the new basis for your seasonal skills ranking.
Asking because I was looking into things that qualify you for various events, and one of the documents mentioned seasonal scores, and I don’t know when the “season” ends (in terms of when the scores you get stop counting).
Yes. Any tournament taking place before March 14 that offers skills will count towards your skills ranking assuming you do robot skills challenge at that tournament. Skills scores will be finalized on March 14, but any skills scores entered in prior to this will count towards your skills ranking, and therefore the excess Worlds spots given to those with high enough skills scores.
