I’m not gonna lie during the weekend we almost got Marine Grease to lube the axles of our robot 
@forzapixel Tesla’s aren’t actually even good for the environment because most (or half) of the emissions from a car are from actually making the car and Teslas require way more energy to produce than gas powered cars, and the electricity they get is usually from coal or natural gas or something. Plus they take forever to charge. Cars aren’t even a big problem though because a lot more pollution is from ships. The 15 largest ships in the world produce more emissions than all the cars in the world because nobody owns the ocean so ships can burn whatever they want to burn for power.
I would like to say the following:
- Teslas goal is to take steps reducing carbon emissions. Regardless if it is true or false does not mean the Tesla company should stop producing the cars.
- Tesla is taking attempts to reduce the carbon emissions as they are working towards selling solar panels to the average consumer, so charging the car would not require any coal or fossil fuels being used.
- Tesla already developed a quickswap machine that could be installed in your home which would autonomously replace your car battery with a full battery, which is quicker than filling up a non-electric car’s gas tank.
- Before we discuss about whether or not solar panels are more “environmentally friendly” at least it is a better alternative to coal.

Your points are valid but I’m just trying to say, Tesla’s themselves aren’t going to have a huge effect on the environment, especially since they are too expensive for a lot of people. They are better than normal cars in the long run but none of that really matters because the most pollution is from Cows/meat, power plants, factories, planes, and ships.

As a worker on a ranch, I can attest that cows/meat is probably a factor on some small scale, but not on the magnitude of power plants , factories, planes, and ships.
cruse ship emissions make up a pretty large amount of emissions but most people ignore it
