Another question, when you mount the brain on the robot, does it have to be mounted vertically or horizontally for the brain Inertial to be utilized?

For an IQ generation 2 brain ?
If so, either orientation will work, for best results, you may wish to recalibrate in that orientation using the instructions here (do this off the robot on a flat surface).
