Hi, I recently received some GPS strips for VAIC. Is this installed properly or is there a better way of doing this?
Presumably you need to mount one on your elbow?
Let the “Over vs Under” debates begin…
but unlike standard paper, this roll also has two different textures, a glossy side and what appears to be a more rough, canvas-like surface on the back. And the orientation of the roll, as well as the way it’s coiled, could have an impact on which side of the tape is more convenient to use.
warning: Slight language
You want to put the blocks so they can be seen by the audience. That way they will know the positions of the robots.
Side-track… for HS, do we need to re-apply (if we were already in the previous season) to be in VAIC for the new season?
@meng It was mentioned at the AI/VEXU Championship that registration would likely not open until October for AI. AI will be open to all, no application. Teams will again receive a KOP with all the sensors and the GPS field code. The issue is that with the chip shortage/manufacturing delays not all of the electronics are ready to ship. Registration will open when they know an accurate ship date for the KOP.
It has the ideal shape to navigate your robot into the spiral dimension of twilight.
Pretty sure that is the path most robots do their first critical match.
