Doing iq and v5rc at the same thime

I am planning on doing a private iq team for rapid relay at the same time while doing v5rc is it recommended to do it or would it be too much on my plate I just want to know your guys opinon on this

This year, I was on a MS vrc team, a HS vrc team, and an IQ team. It is legal, it is just a lot and for certified vex geeks. I thought I would be able to but you can’t do them both ultra competiteively, you could if you main focused for one of them and then for the other one you were just a member of the team and did sidequest and stuff.

Then you were breaking the rules. You can’t be on both a MS VRC team and a HS VRC team. That is clearly a G4 violation.

No Student may fulfill
any of these roles for more than one VEX V5 Robotics Competition Team in a given competition season.

That is allowed, just beware of the time commitment! Its hard to reach full potential in both at once.

I think @daddycrusader is talking about not bein\g allowed in both a High School team and a Middle School team. Being on an VIQ team and a V5RC team is fine as long as you are on only one VIQ team and/or one V5RC team,

No, Highschool VRC for a bit, MS VRC for a bit (not at the same time) and IQ the whole time.

So I’m assuming that you are interpreting the rules as, you cannot go to a V5RC competition and be a builder on one team 12345a and a builder on another team 12345b. We have established that there is no rule against IQ except for the age restriction. However, note that G4 says you cannot fulfil any of the roles in a given VEX V5 competition SEASON. Key being season.
If you mean that you played spin up in a MS and slapshot and then did over under in a HS team and played full volume then that’s ok. But I’m assuming that’s not what you meant. It seems like a pretty clear rule meant to stop teams from “trading” people or people trying to “double” their odds of qualifying for worlds, states etc.

Oops, didn’t realize it was illeagal. And i did do VRC MS, HS, and IQ MS in the same year just MS and HS vrc were at different times as I wasnt on 2 vrc teams at the same time.
